Privacy Policy
Effective June 19, 2026
Mend (operated by Champlin Enterprises) respects your privacy. This explains what we collect, how we use it, and — importantly — how we handle your WordPress access.
What we collect
- Account & contact: your email and (optionally) name. We use passwordless magic-link sign-in, so we don't store a password.
- Your request: your site URL, a description of the problem, and any screenshots or files you upload.
- Access credentials you choose to share so we can do the work (see below).
- Payment: processed by Stripe. We receive a payment confirmation and store a Stripe reference — never your full card number.
How we handle your credentials
If you instead enter credentials directly into your order portal, they are encrypted at rest and visible only to the engineer working on your fix. You can delete saved credentials at any time, and we recommend rotating any shared password after the work is done.
How we use your information
To diagnose and fix your site, communicate with you about your order, process payment, and — if you ask — provide ongoing care. We do not sell your information.
Service providers
We share the minimum necessary with trusted providers who help us operate: Stripe (payments), Mailgun (transactional email), and our hosting infrastructure. These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms.
Retention & your rights
We keep your order history so you (and we) have a record of the work. You can ask us to access or delete your personal data — including any stored credentials — by emailing [email protected].
Security
We work backup-first, serve everything over HTTPS, encrypt sensitive data at rest, and keep credential access limited to the engineer on your job. No method is perfectly secure, but we treat your access with the care it deserves.
